Joseph Bartasius Assumes DSA Chief Growth Officer Role

Joseph Bartasius, a retired U.S. Army colonel and now a senior executive in the defense industry, has joined Data Systems Analysts as chief growth officer, according to his LinkedIn announcement on Sunday.

Prior to assuming his current role at DSA, Bartasius served as senior principal for Army sector at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD). He was responsible for leading executive business development and capture activities.

Bartasius will now drive DSA’s business growth efforts, including business pipeline expansion, capture and proposal execution, on-contract growth and customer relationship management, according to his profile on the platform.

His industry career includes time at Soaring Eagle Solutions, the former L3 company, Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC) and BAE Systems.

At the Army, Bartasius served in a variety of command and staff positions in airborne, light, special operations and training units in Asia, Germany and the U.S.
